Job Summary

The Commercial Solutions Manager owns the commercial creation of our standard solution sets based on market opportunities, position and demand by delivering a standard set of solutions to address customer challenges.

This role will lead the thinking on the design of the solutions with their technical understanding of K3 and 3rd party software to deliver solutions in line with the commercial roadmap working closely with the Commercial Product Managers, Marketing and the Development team to define the technical solution for market segments.

Key Accountabilities

Build effective software solutions that deliver solutions that meet functionality, performance, scalability and reliability expectations

Work with the Product Managers to design and develop commercial solution sets for target markets, creating a portfolio of solution sets inputing to the roadmap management process

Lead and manage the commercial adoption process within the business to introduce new solutions to meet requirements

Work with the internal teams such as sales, support and service delivery to understand existing and future customer demands.

Commercial ‘Integration’ with other products

Assesses product features from third party and K3 IP for integrations into solutions

Support the training, documentation and development of product overviews

Deliver technical solutions to support the product solution portfolio

Responsible for the full solution adoption process from development, to business development, installation, support to admin.

Experience and Skills

Strategic thinker with good analytical ability

Proven ability to manage external relationships successfully – customer, supplier, partner relationships

Effective stakeholder management

Software development background

External market understanding and implications for product set

Ability to demonstrate successful influence over business process without hierarchical authority

Experience of successfully working in a complex matrix environment

Understand the technology underpinning the product set

Broad understanding of technologies and market trends and developments

A good understanding of the supply chain from design, production, logistic to sale and support is a an advantage.
